Exciting News!

Well friends, it is always exciting at The City Church, however this week calls for some extra-special-exciting news!

First off, Charlotte Beck has FINALLY returned to her first love of blogging! I knew the Holy Spirit would draw her back! This is a proven testimony that prayer DOES work!

Secondly, Jenny (not Jennifer) has returned to us from northern California. As much as I love northern California, I prefer to see Jenny in southern California, sitting in her cubicle office. We should also be expecting another updated blog!

By far the last few "exciting things" have to do with spiritual matters. Let me just say that Julianne Louman has become my second favoritest person in the world, and I have told her so myself. She is from City Bible Church in Portland, OR and just happens to know Donna Lasit. (For those of you who are behind, she is my FAVORITEST person in the world!) Well, tonight Julianne introduced me to Donna Lasit's message machine. Now I'm not talking about the home phone I'm talking about the personal cellular connection. Julianne actually had me leave a message on Donna Lasit's personal voicemail, so in about 30 seconds, I tried to sum up her "amazing-ness" from someone she probably doesn't remember. Sure I've met her, but to get a personal connection like this made my day!

We also have two surprise visitiors here in San Diego---Pastor Jude Fouquier and Pastor Jack Louman. Both exhorted and prayed over the interns today. And they are meeting with some of The City Church leaders later. I believe that this meeting will increase our faith for the building permits and we're gonna see breakthorough soon!

And this just in! I got to eat dinner with Pastor Jack Louman and Julianne last night after the meeting. Geez, I've gotten to meet so many amazing people this year and spend some "quality" time with some of the world's greatest pastors! I don't know if this day could've gotten better.
