Can you believe it only took me 7.5 hours to reach Oceanside? Definitely my record and I only made one stop! I ended up sleeping ALL afternoon and GC was unbelievable that night. I had to call Tope and Sean so they could get a taste of San Diego's greatness. (I think they may have been a little jealous.) The service got me totally pumped for camp (which was probably the best week of my year). Anyway, in keeping with GC tradition, we went to Primos after and Ben did this weird hand thingy (what it is anyway?)
(Notice Ben's bicep action? hahaha)
And I caught Brittne trying to imitate him.

Laura and I went to Sea World the next night to see my cousin Cheyenne dance in the Riptide show. While waiting we experimented with my phone (it has a camera!) and this is what we came up with.
Laura playing with my phone to get an ID picture for her number.

The sweetest, most awesomest sunglasses on display.

Cousin Cheyenne dancing (in the center)
Stinkin cute kids that were learning to dance with the Riptide hip-hop dancers.
The awesomely cool drummers. This was just the warm-up!
Me and my cousin Cheyenne
We rushed out of Sea World to make it to the premiering night of Step Up. Definitely a chick-flick but not what I expected it to be. We even got some of the boys to see it with us and they actually liked it. At least enough to dance afterwards!
Walking towards the theater entrance (opening night sets you up for long lines!)
David busting his groove. Laura had to use her self-control before she got out of control. (So she laughed instead.)
Saturday night I went with Donna to pick up Jynell at the airport. I saw one of the coolest things ever and got one of the worst pictures of it ever, but I'm posting it anyway. There were people watching this Cary Grant movie on a boat! We watched from the car, but I am determined to actually do that one day!

And so I made a visit back to the church office one Sunday morning.....
where I discovered that Tope's car is STILL sitting in the parking lot; feeling abandoned and lonely next to those shuttles that are frequently used. I made a visit through the building to find its latest addition.
And to see that our reliable "germicidal disinfectant" was still intact and in use.
Thus begins the journey of camp from there. After a windy and bumpy road, I happened upon the first real sign of camp and continued on, only to acquire a flat tire. Not fun. But the rest of camp was!
The only totally coolest green R2-D2 you've ever seen in a normal day of Star Wars.
Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi
Trying something new with the camera.

Josh and Jesy
Laura messing with my phone again! (That's Chad on the left.)
I got some video footage of our INSANE gospel act along with some Holy Ghost FIRE, but I'm not too computer saavy yet so those will just have to wait. (You can see how long it took to get these up!) But that was unforgettable! And to end such an unforgettable week, we re-united the favorite and most memorable interns of 2006 for one last time before they all went separate ways again. (Some of the favorites were MIA, but we missed you Kristi, Sean, Tope, and Emilie!)

I have more pictures and posts to write so stay tuned. Miss everybody lots (especially my crazy interns and best friends!

Hi there, come back. Christmas time is coming soon. You'll probably get more presents over here then there. Besides, I can use an extra present from you, myself.
