>>>Need a good movie to fill your "free time?"I just watched She's the Man over the weekend. Based on Shakepeare's Twelfth Night with a modern setting, I actually really liked it. If you're in the mood for a light-hearted movie, check this one out!
>>> My "big sister", Jeri, just had her bridal shower this last weekend. It was exciting. Probably an easy 50 people there. The gifts took up a whole wall of the room! It was fun to watch her open the gifts; some were pretty funny and a little graphic! I made the ribbon bouquet for her rehearsal dinner as she opened the gifts. Here's a look at my masterpiece.

>>>We're in the process of fixing up the house. There's always something else to do! We've finally gotten the interior painting done. Still waiting on the carpet installation where we get to move all our bedroom/living room/dining room furniture out. These were our paint samples. We (mostly meaning me) voted to go with the first one. And we did.
>>>We (meaning me and 3 brothers) painted the backyard fence, for like the third time since living here. We just went with white to match with the exterior accents of the house. Our reward: lots of sweat, slurpees, and bad tan lines!
>>>Since some of our church staff members are getting married soon, I have been playing church secretary. I answer phones and I have picked up the task of designing a touch card for our Harvest Groups. With minimal computer knowledge and skills, tons of grace, and a tentative deadline, I'd say that it's progressing very well. Just a few more touch-ups and it's ready to go. Very time-consuming though! I give a hand to Jenny and Charlatte who work at the church all day long!
Other than that, my time is poured into school, work, church, and homeworking (basically, work at home!) With weddings drawing closer, project due dates approaching, and upcoming church events, I'm likely to have more blog ideas than time to write them! I'll do my best. As I end this one, five ideas are coming to mind. But for now, this is me, trying to keep up in the real world. I'm not exactly sure where I'm going, but I know who I'm following.
