I love my family. I love that we get along. I love that we love hanging out together. I love that we all have things in common and traditions that only we celebrate. I love watching TV with them. Here's a recent conversation I had while watching Inspiration Sensation. Somehow I happened upon this show while scrolling through the menu. Basically it's a Christian cheesy-to-the-max version of American Idol. I'm not even going to post a link to it. The show was just bad quality! If you're interested, do a search on your own. Dad and I had just finished watching a contestant perform. The three judges were about to give feedback. (What I'd like to call 'praise'...they never seemed to have anything constructive to say.) I was just about to change the channel because I couldn't stand the cheesiness any longer. But instead we waited until the last judge began to give his feedback. As he did...

Me (shocked that my dad even insulted someone, replied with a confused look) : Dad, he's not gay.
Dad (laughing) : No, I said---where did they get this cave man from?
Me: Oh...

I love your family too. And as to your last post, I totally learned that secret from Jackie Owens, and use it to this day when babysitting small children.
