XG Late Nites

This is a long-past-due post that I'm finally getting up on here. This has been a crazy week between the fires and keeping up with everyone as well as continuing life and preparing for another Late Nite at XG. So here we start at the beginning. Here is our first official "Late Nite" since cancelling our movie nite. My favorite part was the game, which you will see below. But here are some of our youth kids.

So the game pretty much went something like this. Put egg yolk in a long tube and have people blow from both ends to see who can get the yolk out of the other side and into their partner's face, or worse, mouth! Pretty sick, and still pretty hilarious!

This one by far was funniest! Brothers Danny and Jason went for it and sad, but true, Danny passed out from blowing so hard. Weird thing was, he ended up on the ground and then didn't know what had just happened. We all didn't have enough time to panic since he literally got right back up.

Last month we had Late Nite at the bowling alley. A group of people decided to use a yellow hiliter in the black lights to draw pictures all over themselves. My flash went off on my camera, so I couldn't capture hiliter marks, but some were pretty creative!

And here we are this month...our best Late Nite yet! Here's a look at the sanctuary during announcements. We took out the side chairs to make room for Late Nite after service.

After service we had a jousting tournament, two screens set-up for the Wii, foosball, TV's for Xbox, and the TRANFORMERS movie playing out in the lobby. The jousting pit was the highlight (we love that thing!) and raffling off prizes all night including an iPod touch seemed to be a crowd pleaser. Here's a quick look at the games.
