My Look-Alike is Back!

(You know it's really funny that I am posting this after Joy and Jael's comments, but I was already in the process of writing it before they said something. I think it's even funnier that this subject keeps coming up!)

Remember when I wrote that post about my look-alikes? Well, my "Whale Rider" look-alike is back in the Nativity Story (a must-see in my opinion, but I have yet to make it to the theaters as well). I first saw the previews for the "Nativity Story" on the TV. And since my church meets in a movie theater right now, I have seen plently of poster boards with the preview for the movie on it. The "Nativity Story" posterboard happens to be conveniently located by the entrance of our main theater. For the last three weeks, at least one of the ushers has stopped me and said I look like "Mary" on the posterboard. This was really funny to hear from them, since some of them know me very well, and I couldn't believe they thought I looked like her.

Anyway, after my first encounter with an usher, I went home and checked out the movie information online. I did a search on the girl who played Mary, who I first thought was Pocahontas from "The New World". Turns out this young lady is the same one who played in "Whale Rider" (still haven't seen it yet), who is the same person Nicole's grandfather said I looked like when I met him earlier this year.

Personally, I don't see a resemblence...but you are all entitled to your own opinion.
